How the sale works:

  • Starting Wednesday September 18th, 2024 you’re placing a $50 deposit on each item you need to reserve for 2024.

  • Details below on Prime Ribs and Turkey details

Sanford Family Beef Prime Ribs

We offer half and whole prime ribs for the end of the year holidays (November & December).

Contact us to request Prime Rib January-October.

Prime Rib Details

  • Prime Ribs are available in half (5-7lbs) or whole sizes (8-12lbs) and are bone-in.

    • When planning your meal, estimate 1 frozen pound is needed per person.

  • There’s two pick up option. Either before Thanksgiving or before Christmas

    • You’re choosing one of those two options at checkout.

    • Need the prime rib for Thanksgiving or early/mid-December? Choose Thanksgiving at check out and we’ll have it to you by November 18th at the latest.

    • Need the prime rib for Christmas? Choose Christmas at check out and we’ll have it to you by December 21st, 2024 at the latest.

    • When ordering- if Christmas inventory is sold out, just choose Thanksgiving. It just means you’ll get your prime rib early :)

  • We will call you when your prime rib is ready for pick up

    • Pick up will be at our farm store 8069 N Parma Rd Parma, MI.

    • Fridays 2-6pm or Saturdays 10am-3pm.

    • Special pick-up hours can be arranged.

  • They are frozen and vacuum sealed for freshness.

  • You’re paying $50 to reserve the prime rib, you’ll pay the remaining balance upon pick up.

    • Price per pound is $20.99.

    • At pick up you’ll be paying $20.99/pound minus the $50 deposit you paid

  • We’ll contact you once your prime rib is in and available for pick up.

  • You’ll pay the deposit with a card online, you can pay the balance via card, cash or check upon pick up.

  • Boneless prime ribs are available upon special request. Call or text Chris at 517-206-2252 to reserve a boneless prime rib.

Maple Crest Farms Homegrown Turkeys

Chris’ brother, Greg, his wife Alysa and their 5 kids are raising homegrown turkeys for your holiday meal in 2024 at their farm in Rives Junction.

Turkey Details

  • Turkeys will range in size from 15-24+ pounds each.

  • You will be picking up a fresh (not frozen) turkey.

  • The turkey will be in vacuum sealed bags and processed at a USDA facility.

  • Pick up details:

    • You’re picking up your turkey at our farm store 8069 N Parma Rd Parma, MI

    • Pick up day is Thursday November 21st from 6-7:30pm.

    • We will not hold your turkey. You MUST pick it up that day and during those times.

  • You’re paying $40 to reserve the turkey, you’ll pay the remaining balance upon pick up.

    • The price will be $4.50/pound.

    • At pick up you’ll be paying $4.50/pound minus the $40 deposit you paid

  • We’ll send you a reminder email/text the week of, to pick up your turkey.

  • You’ll pay the deposit with a card online, you can pay the balance via card, cash or check upon pick up.

  • Other Tips:

    • Once picked up, freeze your turkey of you need to.

    • Defrost before cooking. Allow 24 hours for every 5 pounds of the bird.

    • Defrost in the refrigerator.

There’s no commitment in joining the waiting list. We will follow up with you in November if you’re still wanting a prime rib. If your plans have changed, you can simply say no and pass on a prime rib.
