Where to pick up my pork:

• Countryside Quality Meats in Union City

When do I pick up my pork:

• In the fall. End of September- beginning of November.

• Pick-up weeks will be one of the following that I'll assign to you after the sale:

  • Week of Sept 30th

  • Week of Oct 14th

  • Week of Oct 28th

  • Week of Nov 11th

• Once you order, I will assign you your pick-up month.

Cost:

• Deposit is due during our Pork Sale. Monday June 10th - Friday June 14th, 2024.

  • $150 deposit for 1/2 pork share

  • $300 deposit for a whole pork share

• Remainder owed for pork is due the week we take the pigs to the butcher.

  • Dates above (Sept - Nov)

• Processing (butcher) Fee:

  • You’ll pay this to Countryside Quality Meats when you pick up your pork.

Other Steps:

• Once you pay your deposit, we follow up with an email the following week with your pickup week.

• Pick up dates are first come, first serve.

• Countryside will call you to collect your cut order in the fall. You get to choose how everything is cut and packaged based on your family’s needs.

• Countryside will call you when your pork is ready for pick up.

Example of how to have your pork cut at the butcher:

• This is how Chris and I like to have our pork shares processed

  • Bacon- smoked

  • Ham’s- smoked. Then we like them 1/4’d as we don’t serve them at holidays, just recipes throughout the week

  • Pork chops- bone in. They are delicious smoked.

  • Ribs- we get these. These will be spare ribs unless you get boneless pork chops-then they will be baby back ribs

  • Roasts- we get the butt & shoulder roasts

    • If you want more pork sausage, don’t get these so they are ground into pork sausage

  • Pork Sausage- we love Countryside’s breakfast seasoning for all of our pork sausage

Cost:

• You’re paying for half in in June and the other half when you pick up in the fall.

• Deposit is due during our Pork Sale. Monday June 10th - Friday June 14th, 2024.

  • Breakfast Bundle= $45 deposit

  • Starter Bundle= $95 deposit

  • Grilling Bundle= $40 deposit

• The other half is owed for the pork upon pick up.

  • Date range will be end of October - November for pick up.

Where to pick up my pork:

• At our Farm Store. 8069 N Parma Rd Parma, MI

• Your pick-up date will be one of these Saturdays at our farm store:

  • Saturday October 5th

  • Saturday October 19th

  • Saturday November 2nd

• Pork will be picked up on a Saturday during farm store hours. Saturday hours are 10am-3pm

Other steps:

• Once you pay your deposit, we follow up with an email the following week with your pickup date.

• Pick up dates are first come, first serve. We can make arrangements or assign a friend to pick up, if you can’t make it.
