Our family has similar struggles. Then add the fact we wanted to source local beef for our family.

The high-quality beef that I remember enjoying at my grandma’s house for dinner that was raised on their farm.

That’s when Chris and I started Sanford Family Beef in 2016.

We started providing individual cuts of beef in 2018 so that we, as well as you, could provide your family high-quality local beef from a family farm without having to invest in a chest freezer to enjoy it.

Take a trip to our farm store, located at our farm. Look for the little red shop on your beautiful drive on North Parma Road.

There you can shop for all of your family’s favorite cuts of beef like roasts-perfect for the nights you need dinner ready when you get home. Ground beef- “better than the grocery store” our customers rave. Steaks- a tender bite every time, perfect all year round.

Before you leave our farm store, you can grab a few of the free recipes we have on hand, tested in our kitchen & approved by our young boys, to enjoy with your family.

Carrying on a legacy was a big goal for Jackie and I. Our farm was founded in 1851 by my paternal side of the family. For six generations, Jersey dairy cattle roamed this farm. I was able to remember just a little bit about them before they were sold. The opportunity to bring cattle back on the farm and have our boys be 7th generation Sanford’s on this land gives us great joy and excitement for the future.
